Klimovski, Savo

Klimovski, Savo (Skopje, 13. ⅵ 1947) – University professor, lawyer. He finished primary and secondary education in his hometown. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1970), where he and the Master’s degree (1974), and the doctoral thesis defended the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana on the topic “Self-Governmental Communities” (1978). At the Faculty of Law in Skopje, he worked as an assistant on the subject of the Utility and Communal Policy (1971), and then as a full professor of constitutional law and political system (1989). Elected as a member of the Executive Society of SRM (1986-1990). He was Dean of the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1992-1996) and chairman of the Senate of the University “St. Cyril and Methodius “in Skopje (1996-1998). He participated in the establishment of the Political Party Democratic Alternative (1997), and then elected MP (1998-2002) and the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia (1998-2000). Co-author is on high school and university textbooks in the field of constitutional arrangement and political system.
