Jovod-Macedonian, Spiro

Jovod-Macedonian, Spiro (Bitola, 1834 – Bouljah, Bulgaria, 17. ⅶ ​​1868) – Macedonian revolutionary. From a trade and revolutionary family. He prepared a plot in Bitola (1862), he was arrested and sentenced to death. Endured five years of robbia. After the liberation, took part in the Cretan Uprising (1866). He activated organizing a new uprising in Bitola and Krushevo (1867). He participated in the liberation fighting in Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria, where he died. Lit.: M.
