Jankovic, Ljubica and Danica

Jankovic, Ljubica and Danica (Ljubica – Aleksinac, Serbia, 14. ⅳ 1894 – Belgrade, 3. 1974; Dunica – Leshnica, Serbia, 7. 1898 – Bell-city, 18. ⅳ 1960) – ethnomologists and ethnocologists and ethnocoologists. The shared gathering work in the field of folklore started in 1913. The first in the then state dealt with the collection and study of the folk dances. They created their own recording system that they applied in the issuance of the collection of “folk games” (in 9 volumes). In some of them (1 and 4), a large number of dances of several ethnographic areas of Macedonia were collected, which is the basis for the later studies of Macedonian ethnocore phics. M. Cole.
