Janev Brotland, Ivan

Janev – Brlo, Ivan. (v. Gorna Balvan, Stip, 1877 – Kyustendil, Bulgaria, 28. ⅷ 1925) – Members of Tmo and VMRO, Stip Duke. In 1902 he was in the E. Chuchkov, and from 1907, was a duke in Shtip. He participated in the Balkan and World War I in the Bulgarian army. After the war, as VMRO’s VMRO, he performed comical actions and criminal acts in the Vardar part of Macedonia. He was a close associate of T. Aleksandrov. He was sentenced to death from the Central Committee of Ivan Mihailov and killed. Lit.: Petar Shandanov, memories. Preface and editorial office prof.
