Hajov, Ivan.

Hajov, Ivan (Struga, 1885 – Sofia, 1956) – Literary historian, philologist, educated Dean. He was educated in Sofia, where he graduated from the high school and Slav-skaring philology at the University “Kliment Ohridski”. He stayed in Austria, Germany and Croatia. He participated in the work of the Macedonian Scientific Institute in Sofia. He published numerous articles in the field of literary history, linguistics and methodology. He is the author of the monograph of the Miladinovci brothers. It processed topics from the folklore (“curved motifs in folk songs”). He accepted the theoretical principles of the Russian scientist from Ukraine (Kharkov) A. Element, applying them in their elaborations of the poetry of Hristo Botev. The study of his fellow citizens Miladinovci (1944) is distinguished by rich and original factography. He is noted by the article “The creative participation of the word in human opinion” (1939). He was signed by the pseudonym “Veritas”. D. T.
