Hadzitev, Nicholas (Prilep, 4 ⅷ 1909 – Skopje, 25. ⅺ 1970) – doctor, epidemiologist-microbiologist. Medicine finished in Belgrade (1934), and then worked privately until 1940. He was a partisan doctor and commander of the medical-sanitary battalion of the 48th Macedonian striker brigade. After the war (until 1949) was a commander of the antimalarial company of the fifth Army area. In 1950 He was demobilized and a health advisor at the Federal Institute for Tropical Diseases, where he was withdrawn in the Republic Institute for Health Protection. As a bacteriologist and epidemiologist acquired a great respect, especially because of his contribution to the eradication of malaria in the Republic of Macedonia. He worked in the branch office of malaria in the Federal Epidemiological Commission. He completed the working life as a health adviser at the Ministry of Health of SRM. P. B. Trifun Hadgianv
