Hadji Hristo (Belgrade, 1783 or 1794 – Athens, 1853) – an officer in the Ottoman army and General of the Greek Army. He was in military service in Egypt in Mehmed Ali. Hurrid Pasha via Syria was sent to Peloponnese for the suppression of the uprising in Greece. He crossed the side of the Greek insurgents, pointed out in the fighting and in 1824. He became a General of the Greek rebellious army. In 1834 He was decorated with the highest Order and became an adjutant of King Oton. Lit.: Nikola Todorov, Balkan measured® at GRícko, from 1821.
