Gurah, Xheladin

Gurah, Xheladin (village Sipkovica, Tetovo ,?) – Teacher, Minister of Culture of Albania (1980). After the liberation, he was a teacher and the Chief of Culture and Education in Tetovo. Then he emigrated to Albania (1948), where he spent special training in Sigurimi, in a camp in the vicinity of Tirana. Later, a group of 18 diversians was thrown into Macedonia and settled in the bachila above the village. Shipkovica, protected and fed by the local pitigas from the village. Revealed by UDB, after the shooting one of them died (1952), and other diversians managed to be saved. The same year he once again stayed in Macedonia. Later, with a false passport, he came to Yugoslavia, this time in Zagreb (spring 1979), where he met a political agreement with the then president of the Executive Council of the Assembly of Tetovo Menaf Neziri, a native of the village.
