Gunzovski, Gjorgji (village of Stenu, Kostur, 1924 – Skopje, 1986) – University professor, economist. He finished elementary and secondary education in Kostur, the Aegean part of Macedonia. Member of the Communist Youth Organization of Greece since 1941. He actively participated in the fighting against the occupiers of the country. He fought in the ranks of ELAS, in the Aegean Brigade of DAG (1946-1949). Through Albania, emigrated to the USSR (ⅷ 1949). He passed a group of exams at the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan (1964) and was admitted to aspiration, which successfully completed (1968). Defended dissertation and obtained a scientific title of economic sciences, specialty – political economy (1969). The same year he was elected a senior lecturer in the subject political economy at the Medical Institute in Tashkent. He returned to the SRM (1970) and was employed at the Faculty of Law in Skopje. Elected for assistant (1972), and then for an associate professor of economic sciences (1976). He published a larger number of papers in the field of economy and agriculture.
