“Fungi Makedoniki” (Fungi Madendonics) – The only collection of dry fungi (fungarium) in Macedonia, which currently has about 10,000 copies or about 3,000 different types. The samples originate from the Republic of Macedonia, the Balkan Peninsula, Europe, Central Asia, North Africa, etc. The collection is kept in the Mycological Laboratory of the Institute of Biology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in “Fungi Makedoniki” Skopje. Most of the species are determined by kind and morned according to international criteria. Only fertile samples were preserved in the collection, i.e. All types are microscoped and dispose of spores.
