A forest-commercial unit. Forests on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia in terms of planning and management are divided into smaller surfaces, called forestry units. It is done in order to have a defined area, wood mass, growth and other parameters that will serve for more precisely and timely planning and recording, as well as for more efficient, full, planning and intensive forest management. The surface of the forestry unit can not be greater than 5,000 ha, if the highland forests participate with over 60%, or 10,000 ha, if low-fat forests participate with an area of over 40%. On the territory of the Republic of Macedonia there are about 190 forestry units for which plans were made for their management. Al. And.
