The decision to establish an OZN in Macedonia was made at a meeting of the CPM Central Committee in the village. Flat, Kumanovo. Later, it was independent on the free territory in Kumanovo (the second half of 1944), which meant the full separation of intelligence from security functions and Ozz became the only intelligence center. With the adoption of the first constitution of the FNRJ, within the Ministry of Defense, the counter-intelligence service of the JNA (Kos) was formed, and OZN was separated from this ministry and entered the composition of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – State Security Directorate (UDB).
