Central Securities Depository, AD Skopje – institution of the capital market, which performs two main activities: (1) registration of ownership of securities and (2) settlement, i.e. Exchange of securities and money, on the basis of the concluded transactions with securities. The Central Securities Depository (CSD) was established at 10. ⅹ 2001. Within a wider process of dematerialization of securities in the Republic of Macedonia. With the process of dematerialization, the securities stopped existing in material for material and were converted into electronic records, which are recorded in the CSD. The CDM database is registered all issued securities and all owners, ie holders of securities. At the end of 2006 In the CSD, 182,075 holders of securities were registered.
