Bunny, Trifun Petrov

Bunjev, Trifun Petrov (Possud: Trajko; Trpco) (Voden, 28. 1889 – Skopje, 23. 1966) – Textile worker, the presence in the United States and a participant in the Spanish civil war. At the time of the Balkan Wars, he deserted from the Turkish army and through Thessaloniki went to New York. There he became an activist and head in the trade union movement, and then a member of the Communist Party of the United States (1924), which is why it was often absent. In prisons and camps spent a total of 6 years. Together with other compatriots from Macedonia, he left for Spain (10. 1937) and became a volunteer in the Republican army of the Republican Army. She participated in the fighting on 6 Fronta, and even five times he was wounded (in the fighting of Brunued, etc.). He received a military rank lieutenant, and after the wounds he performed sanitary duties. After the withdrawal (1939), he found himself in a camp in France, where he managed to escape and returned to the United States. After the liberation came to live in Skopje (January 1947).
