Bulgarian-Yugoslav agreement for friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance

Bulgarian-Yugoslav agreement on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance (Asenovgrad, 27. Xi 1947). With him, the governments of the People’s Republic of Bulgaria and the FNR Yugoslavia, represented by their presidents Georgi Dimitrov, that is, Josip Broz Tito, were obliged to brotherly cooperation and joint defense of territorial integrity and independence (in case of endangering or aggression from a third state), the most difficult Economic cooperation and undertaking all measures for preparing the Customs Union; Postment in all areas of spiritual and material culture. The agreement was signed with importance of 20 years. After the IB Government’s resolution of the HR Bulgaria unilaterally terminated it with note (1 ⅹ 1949). Lit.: Official leaves FNRJ, 4, 1948. M.
