Boskov, Vanco.

Boskov, Vanco (Negotino, 1934 – Skopje, 1984) – Orientalist, Osmanist, university professor. In 1957 he graduated from the Orientalistics Department in Sarajevo. He worked for five years in the State Archives of Macedonia, translated several Turkish Country (files) and Turkish documents from 1600-1912, three years was a specialization in Cairo. Two years, he was researched at the Historical Institute in Munich, where he studied the history of the Middle East and Turkish culture, after approval of San, the study of Turkish documents in the archive of Mount Athos in Thessaloniki. He was a visiting professor of osmanastic at the University of Vienna and other universities in Germany. For 20 years he was a full-time professor of Osmanan language and Turkish literature at the Sarajevo University. In 1981 It goes to the Skopje University of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature. He explored the Turkish language and literature in Macedonia from the ⅹⅴ century. He received his PhD on the “Gazelia of the Davanese poet Ishak Celebi” from Skopje. He has published scientific papers from Ottoman-Turkish documents, divine-Turkish literature, criticism, and papers published in multiple encyclopedias. A. De Mary (Mary) Boskova
