Balaban (Balabanidis, Balabanoglu), Avram Prodrom (Endurglow, Asia Minor, 1865 – Bitola, 1913) – doctor, surgeon. Medicine finished in Constantinople (1890). As a doctor, a surgeon and gynecologist worked Bakla in Ohrid, Pristina and Elbasan, and from 1899. In Bitola, where he opened a shelter with office, operating room, several hospital beds and pharmacy. He also worked at the Hospital “Annunciation”. In the Balkan wars, it was infected by the dressing typhus and died. P. B.
