Arsenius ⅱ (Ohrid, ⅹⅴⅰⅰⅰ c. – Mount Athos,?) – The last Ohrid Archbishop (1763 – 16. ⅰ 1767). He originated from the Balazchevi family from Ohrid. He was slaughtered in front of the Patriarch of the Ecumenical Patriarch Samuel Hangerje that he maintained links with Venice and Russia and that is their spy. In order to defend himself and maintain the autocephaly of the Ohrid Archbishopric, accompanied by the relatives of Georgi Balazov from Ohrid, with many chryshoulules and authentic documents, the Archbishop went for Constantinople. But the ravans of the Patriarchate took to Mount Athos, where he died. Then the Ohrid Archbishopric suspected was abolished. Lit.: A.
