Halili, Muhammad Nevzat

Halili, Muhammad Nevzat (v. Jepchiste, Tetovo, 21. ⅱ 1951) – One of the main leaders of PDP. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology (of the French language and literature group) in Skopje. He worked as a French professor at the high school “Kiril Pejcinovic” in Tetovo. Due to advocacy for greater political rights of Albanians in the SRM, as a member of the SCM, he was punished with a warning. The first democratic parliamentary elections was elected MP (1991). He was a minister without portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia (20. 1994 – 23. 1996), and then the ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to Denmark (named 16. 1996).
