Strategic management

Strategic management – a proactive process of achieving long-term compatibility of the enterprise in the envisaged environment. From a formal aspect, strategic management is a process of identification, selecting and executing the most profitable way of providing long-term compatibility between the internal advantages and weaknesses of the enterprise and the external environment in which it acts. The analytical approach enables the following activities, which should carry out senior level managers: first, identify, choose and apply such a strategy they believe will be winning for their organization; The strategy can not be copied by other enterprises, whether in the same or different industry; Each enterprise is specific in terms of abilities, resources, competitors and environment; If identical, then the other enterprise will be different methods of execution; In other words, the specific conditions of acting of the enterprise should be determined; Secondly, be able to effectively utilize the internal abilities and resources of the enterprise; This activity includes human, physical and monetary resources in each area in the enterprise; Third, be able to engage adequately internal abilities and resources in light of extremely variable competition, economic and social environment; Each enterprise exists because it performs any function through which society requires it to offer products and services that will satisfy economic needs of the market, or products and services that will satisfy socio-economic needs. The model of strategic management, understood as a descriptive or graphic way of presenting the reflective order of the activities, enables the manager to choose the priority strategies in a given situation. Despite the differences, there are certain common elements in strategic management models. These common issues refer to: environmental assessment, formulation strategy, the implementation of the strategy and assessment and control of the strategy. Strategic management is evidently profiled for achieving the long-term goals of the enterprise. Starting from the fact that the Macedonian economy since the eighties of the last century is confronted with serious crisis disorders, the management of most of the Macedonian enterprises is confronted with the need to focus on towing short-term moves aimed at surviving firms, and the long-term aspects of development The firms, a lot of crunch, is missing.
