“Illuminates forty martyrs” – a small one-aisled church in the Enoria Gerakomy, near today’s building of the Museum and Institute in Ohrid. From the church today, only the foundations of the south and west wall, as well as something higher wall of the altar apse, where part of the original frescoes, part of the composition of the Liturgical Service of the Bishops before Christ, Avaze was preserved. Archaeological excavations were detected parts of the former stone altar barrier and a multitude of fragments of frescoes, including part of the metrical inscription. The church is widely dated in ⅹⅴⅰⅰⅰ and ⅹⅳ century. S. C.
