Sazdov, Tome.

Sazdov, Tome (Skopje, 8. 1934 – Skopje, 11. ⅱ 2004) – Literary historian, researcher of the Macedonian folk art, UNIV. Professor of Oral People’s Literature at the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski” in Skopje. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy – a group of history of the literature of the peoples of the SFRY in Skopje (1957). For several years he was a journalist, after which he worked at the Faculty of Philology (from an assistant to a full-time professor). He received his doctorate on the topic “Mark K. Cepenkov as a collector of Macedonian folk visi. He was a multi-year director and president of the Council of the International Seminar on Macedonian Language, Literature and Culture in Ohrid, President of the Cultural-Educational Community of Macedonia and Director of the Institute for Macedonian Literature. He arrived several collections with Macedonian folk repentations and popularized our cultural heritage, in the domestic and foreign public. Honorary member of the Writers’ Association of Macedonia.
