Revoles of the Macedonian Revolutionary Organization

Provels of the Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (1896-1903). The first burst of the Secret Macedonian Revolutionary Organization occurred in Bitola (April 1896), when the transfer of bombs and explosives were discovered by the arrest of Done Stojanov Toshev. The Vinica Provel (1897) occurred when the authorities discovered weapons (rifles and bombs) and the existence of a branched network of the Secret Organization. Mass arrests were carried out in Vinica with the surrounding villages, as well as in: Stip, Sveti Nikole, Zletovo, Kratovo, Kriva Palanka, Tsarevo, Pehcevo, Radovish, Kavadarci and Skopje. Teachers, priests, villagers, more than 1000 people were arrested. The Valandovo failure (1899) expanded in the Dojran, in the Enidhardar and Gevgelija. The Bitola Provala (1900) occurred after the liquidation of an exarchical priest that carried out treason. With the most difficult consequences was the Thessaloniki Prova (January 1901) when members of the Central CC Pere Toshev, Hristo Tatarchev, Hristo Matov, etc. were arrested. 188 people were arrested, sentenced 101, of which 9 of death.
