Popovski, Tosho (Galichnik, 14. 1919 – Skopje, 28. 1996) – Journalist, publicist, socialist. Member of the CPY (1939), persecuted and imprisoned, the holder of the Partisan Monument 1941. Graduated High Party School in Belgrade. In the journalism of 1944. – The first correspondent of the Tan-south of Macedonia, editor in Radio Belgrade, “Communist” and “Fight” (1952), the first correspondent of “Fight” from Moscow after normalizing relations with the USSR (1956). Since 1959 Editor-in-chief of “Nova Makedonija”, a permanent correspondent from Sofia (1967- 1970). He was MP in the Assembly of the SRM. The author of the papers “The Macedonian minority in neighboring countries” and “the Macedonian name will not perish”, as well as the novel “Osilo” and the film scenario “Quest”. B. P. F.
