Plaver, Elijah

Pluveev, Elijah (Veles, 1867 – Belgrade, 1940) – Socialist and communist Dean. As a worker in Sofia, he joined the socialist movement. Later he returned to Veles (1902), and then moved to Skopje (1905), where he became a member of a socialist group. He was a member of the National Federal Party. Accepting the communist movement, he became a treasurer of the Skopje Organization of the CPY and then the first vice president of the PC of the CPY for Macedonia.
