Ataxiza (Aasljü) – Prisoner, which is appointed today “Atcelsü” or “Atalary Sözü” (“Speech of the ancestors”). According to the oldest Glossary of the Turkish language and the history of Turkish culture “Subilj Lugate-IT TÜRK”, the Turkish term for proverb is Sav, and the literature meet the terms Malle and Darbyimel. Today’s texts are contemporary variants of the oldest records. Thus, for example, the proverb “Kurt Kurti Semez” (Wolf Wolf does not eat) often encountered between the Turkish population in Macedonia, whose variant of XI c. It reads: “Fight Lookmate Semise”, and in ⅹⅴ c. It appears as “Kurt Lookmate IncitMez”. As a result of international contacts, for most proverbs it is quite impossible to determine the roads of their acceptance and the homeland of their occurrence. When comparing some of today’s Turkish proverbs from Macedonia with their variants in old records, language changes are noted, and in other words are replaced by others.
