Arnaudov, Mikhail (Ruse, 1878 – Sofia, 1978) – a prominent Bulgarian scientist – folklorist, ethnographer, literary historian, cultural, theorist. After the male vine, origin from Macedonia (v. Vratnica, Tetovo). A very fertile author. Among the numerous studies, monographs, research and renewal place occupy the monograph for Miladinovci (1943 and 1969) and the Great Study of Stefan Verkovic and “Veda Slavic” (1968). He finished secondary education in his hometown, High in Sofia, and a longer specialization was in Germany. He was a member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Rector of the Sofia University and President of the Writers’ Association of Bulgaria. He was a member of the Macedonian Scientific Institute in Sofia and Honor Associate in his body “Macedonian Review”. He is the author of a rich folklore ruler of Macedonian folk songs from Tetovo, collected during the First World War. D. T.
