Arian, Flavius (Flavius Arianus) (Nikomedia, OK. 95 BC – 175 BCE) – author of philosophical and historical works and travel. In the main work “Alexandr’s Anabas” (written from 166 to 168 BC) is recorded (on the basis of historical sources) the history of the campaign of Alexander the Great. As a continuation of this work, he writes “Indian history” (according to the records of Alexandr’s military leader Narrech). A.
