Krstic, Sveslav (1961) – Doctor of biological sciences, fibologist, founder of the Laboratory for the research of algae and hydro-ecosystems of the Institute of Biology and the first president of the Macedonian algolic society. He received his doctorate on the topic “Saprobiological characteristics of the microflor of the river Vardar as an indicator of the intensity of anthropogenic influence” (1995). He works as a full professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje. St. K.
