Idar Peoe (Id Petre, Peo Peohibition) – a hero of the folk tales, a shegobian and Itroman, a representative of the Macedonian chancellorous wisdom. According to public beliefs, he originated from the Mariovo village Gradeshnica. There are no historical confirmation of its existence and probably appeared as a counterweight to the Ottoman Iroman and jokesman Nashardon Ozza in the spiritual resistance of the Macedonian people against the Ottoman oppression. In many Macedonian folk stories with schools or satirical motifs and fabuli, he is precisely precisely coming. A number of proser entries have been noted, where it is the main hero, and it was a common theme and our humorists and cartoonists.
