Ali-Pasha Janina

Ali-Pasha Janina (Teletellei, peppered) (1741 – 5. ⅱ 1822) – Ottoman feudal of Albanian origin, Pasha of Ioannina, and then an abroad of the Central Ottoman power and an independent ruler. After the faithful department of Sultan Selim ⅲ, they were independent and declared an independent ruler of Albania, Epirus and Morea (Peloponnese) (1803), and then expanded his power in Macedonia, Thessaly and Greece.
