Velinovska, Mirka (Skopje, 23. ⅳ 1952) – a journalist. Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy – Art history, studied orientalities in Belgrade and classic English in Cambridge. Since 1980 In the cultural editorial office of MRTV, and from the next year in the internal political rubric of “Vecer”. In the period 1990/98 It was affirmed as a commentator in the weekly “Pulse”. One of the founders of the weekly “Start” (1999) and the Sunday magazine “Zoom”. An independent journalist in the leading political weekly “Focus”, now in “Nova Makedonija” cooperates with Deutsche Welle, “Fort Fort Ground” and the Institute of War and Peace in London. B. P. F.
