Aiga – the first capital of the Macedonian kings of the Argeadi dynasty, located in the day. с. Palateza, in the surroundings of Ber (Borhoia). The site is confirmed by the latest archaeological findings of the Royal Necropolis in Vergina (Kutles) near Ber (the members of the Royal House were buried here and after transferring the capital into Pella).
