Uranus, Nikifor (J-ⅺ c.) – Byzantine military leader, winner over Samuel (996). After the escape from captivity in Baghdad, Vasily ⅱ was appointed Domestic in the West, then for Dux in Thessaloniki (996). He returned Larissa and defeated Samuel in R.
