Tomalevski, Georgi

Tomalevski, Georgi (Krushevo, 16. 1897 – Sofia, Bulgaria, 1988) – short story writer, novelist, publicist, essayist. As young (with family), it moves to Sofia, where the high school and physics at the Sofia University ends. Worked long as an educational worker. In literature he enters very young and leaves rich prose opus. • It devoted to the Macedonian theme systemically and continuously. Very favorably accepted by criticism, he obtained a prestigious status in the Bulgarian literature of the 20th century. It features a humanistic pathos and with inclination towards topics that prefer the moral and aesthetic nature of man. They consider it one of the most prominent Bulgarian masters of the essay between the two world wars in XX.
