Sultan Murat Mosque

The mosque of Sultan Murat (Huntar Mosque) (Skopje, 1436) – religious building, monument of culture. It is built under the utility of the Sultan Murat ⅱ (1421-1451). He suffered in the blaze of 1689., after which he was renovated. It has an open porch that relies on four stone pillars, and the inner decoration dates back to the beginning of ⅹⅹ c. In the yard there are two turbines: White of Bejhan Sultan, with five tombstones and family tomb of Ali-Pasha from Dagestan. Renewed in 1911, as well as after the 1963 earthquake.
