Strumica.

Strumica Orthodox Diocese of the MOC (1944). Under that name there is from 1958 to 1982, when it was renamed the Zletovo-Strumica Diocese. In 1982 She was joined to the newly created Povardaren-Strumica Diocese, based in Veles. Since 1989 It was separated as Strumica Diocese. That year in the cathedral “St. Cyril and Methodius “in Strumica was intronized by Metropolitan Gorazd for Strumica Bishop. In August 1995 Metropolitan Naum was elected for Strumica. The diocese includes Strumica, Dojran, Berovo and Pehcevo. Monastic communities have more monasteries. Strumica Diocese became a nursery of renewed monasticism in the MOC.
