“Stevan Mokrovac”, music school, Skopje (1934-1941) – founded first as a private music school (27. ⅸ 1934) on the initiative of prof. Dr. Vojislav Radovanovic, prof. Dusan Konovic and Serbian composer Miodrag Vasilevic. First director was Henry Werez, a warning of Skopje 21. Infantry Regiment. Among the first professor staff were: F. Herzog, M. Vasilevic, VL. Jecic, J. Brnnić, TR. Prokopiev and T. Scalovski. The school was organized according to the example of the Music School in Bel-City: a) Department for General Music Education and B) Section for Expert Music Education. In the first department, the objects were studied: Solepage, theory of music, choral singing, music history, bonded piano, aesthetics of music, vocal technique, excuse and recitation and dirigging. The second department studied cases: solo singing and playing several musical instruments, along with theoretical objects (harmony, counterpoint and composing). All public concerts of this school were peer reviewed in daily newspapers and magazines of that time. J. T. Miroslava Stevanovic
