Stefanovski, Risto (Skopje, 5. ⅹⅰⅰ 1928) – Teatrologist, theater historian in Macedonia, long-time director of TEA. He completed the State Talista Stefanovski Takar School in Skopje (1947- 1949) and the Department for Organization of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. He became a member of the Drama Ensemble in the MNT (1951-1960), and since 1957. Director of the Puppet Theater in Skopje. Under his leadership, this Thea Tar grows into youth (1958), and later in the Drama Theater (1967). The drama Thea – Tar was led in his most successful years, when affirming as a leading theater house in Macedonia and beyond its borders. He performed the function of the MNT Director General (1983-1988). He is the author of the books: “The Theater in Macedonia”, “Tea-Tarar in Macedonia from the ancient theater until 1944”, “from Heraclea to the National Theater Bitola,” “The Theater in Macedonia – Contemporary Trends”, “Theater in Macedonia – New aesthetics “(1 and 2); “Chronicle of the Macedonian drama and theater in Macedonia” (1 and 2), “Theater in Macedonia – Contemporary tendencies”. Co-author of “30 years of Drama Theater” (with Milos and Dusko Constantinov); “Chronicle of MNT 1945-1995” (with Slavko Marinkovic).
