Stavridis, Aleksandar Gligorov

Stavridis, Aleksandar Gligorov (Skopje, 15. 1878 – Skopje, 17. and 1953) – an ophthalmologist. Graduated Medicine in Beirut (1904). Founder and owner of the first sanatorium – a private hospital in Skopje (1912). The new sanatorium (1930) is a comfortable modern building with ground floor and three floors, with 20 beds, two operating rooms, X-ray apparatus, polyclinic-reception part and laboratory. Al.
