Starova, Luan Emin (Luan Emin Starova) (Pogradec, Republic of Albania 14. ⅷ 1941) – UNIV. Professor, academician, diplomat, storyteller, novelist, poet, essayist, translator and literary critic. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, and a master’s degree in Zagreb, on topics in the field of French and comparative literature. He taught French literature at the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski” in Skopje. He was ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to Tunisia and France, Spain, Portugal and UNESCO). He is a member of the Macedonian Pen Center, the DPM (1970) and MANU. His scientific opus in the field of literature, comparative literature and essay, is very rich. He participated in many scientific gatherings, symposia and congresses at home and abroad.
