Solana, Javier Francisco Madarijada (Jivier Franciszo Madariad Solana) (Madrid, Spain, 14. 1942) – Spanish and European politician and diplomat. University professor of physics. In this capacity, a series of meetings with the institutions of the Republic of Macedonia during the 2001 War, in the function of its completion, followed by the stabilization of the situation and building confidence measures. At the session of the Teaching-Scientific Council of the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” in Javier Solana Skopje on 11. ⅴ 2006. A proposal was adopted to be awarded the title “Honorary Doctor of Political Sciences” at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius “- Skopje, in appreciation for what he did for the Republic of Macedonia in 2001.
