Panov, Branko (Strumica, 22. ⅲ 1932 – Skopje, 10. and 2002) – The founder of the contemporary Macedonian medialialistics and the founder of the Macedonian Wantatology. With primary and secondary education, he suffered his hometown, and Dragomir Panko Branko Panov then graduated (1955) and Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy – a group of history in Skopje (1955). He was a longtime professor of history of Byzantium and history of the Macedonian people – the Middle Ages of the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje (1976-1997). A number of school years was a professor of geography, ethnology and journalism and postgraduate studies in the natural and mathematics and the Faculty of Law in Skopje. He participated in a number of scientific gatherings in the country and abroad – Athens, Bucharest, Washington, Vienna, Copenhagen, Krakow, Moscow, Nitra, Salzburg and Regensburg. He was the editor-in-chief of the SP. “History”, chairman of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Council, Head of the Council of Postgraduate Studies and Head of NSG for History of the Faculty of Philosophy, member of the Yugoslav Wantatological Committee and the first president of the Assembly of the Macedonian-Ukrainian Society for Cultural Cooperation. He is the author of several textbooks and manuals for primary and secondary education.
