Orbini, Mavro

Orbini, Mavro (1563-1610 / 14) – Catholic monk and historian. The worldly name is Franjo, and the name Mavro takes him as a monk. The primary and secondary school ends them in Dubrovnik, and at the age of 15 he approaches the Benedictine monastery.
