Manchev, Haralapy Zahariev (Kocani, 3. ⅱ 1898 – Skopje, 14. and 1974) – Specialist pediatrician, among the first in Macedonia. The founder and first director of the Children’s Diseases Clinic. f. in Skopje. One of the first 19 teachers and head of the Department of Pediatrics and the Founder and President (1946-1948) of the Association of Pediatricians of Macedonia. By prof. B. Spirov is one of the founders and president (1954-1955) of MMA and the first editor of the SP. MMP. There are special merit in the fight against malaria and discovery and treatment of Kalaazar in the Republic of Macedonia. No. N.
