MACEDONIA MACEDONIA (Granit City, Illinois, USA, 7. ⅹⅰⅰ 1907 – August 1910) – Weekly newspaper, body of Macedonian emigration in Illinois, USA. He issued the Society of the newspaper “Macedonia” (Granit City, Illinois, the United States, 1907-1910) “Macedonia” with the financial assistance of the American company NICKK Alabac. He went out every Saturday. Edited by Dr. S. I. Shumkov, and was printed in his Eastern printing house “Macedonia”. A total of 39 numbers have been published. Politically supported Boris Sarafov’s supporters and advocated against Sandanski (Jane Sandanski supporters). S. Ml. The newspaper “Macedonia” (Ruse and Sofia, 1888-1893) “Macedonia” (Rousse and Sofia, 21. ⅹ 1888 – 1. ⅹ 1893) – The most important Macedonian weekly newspaper in ⅹⅰⅹ c. He went out every Wednesday. The editor-in-chief was Kosta Shakov, and was printed in the St. St. Iv. Rollov in Rousse and in the sofia printing companies “Liberal Club”, the printing house of H. Stanacho Tachev and “Macedonia”. A total of 122 numbers have been published. He first went out in Rousse, and then in Sofia (from Mr. and, no. 26). He expressed the view that Macedonia can get rid of its own forces, but not without the help of Russia. Due to attitudes against the Bulgarian authorities, the editor was haunted, and the newspaper forboused.
