Lisgar, Peter (Blato, o. Korcula, Croatia, 14. ⅱ 1908 – Split, 1987) – University professor, researcher of the ancient past of Rome, Greece, Egypt, the Old East. He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade (1951) on the topic “Black Korki and the colonies of the ancient Greeks of the Adriatic” (Skopje, 1951). In the Skopje FF, the general history of the old age with archeology (from 1948) as an assistant professor (1951), an extraordinary prof. (1957-1959), and the FF in Zadar General History of the Old Ages as a regular prof. (1964-1976), when he retired, and was previously dean (1960-1962). Lit.: F. Orb, prof.
