Krkovish Demir Kapija.

Church Demir Kapija – one of the most important medieval necropolises in the wider region. It belongs to the population of the city average, housed above the Demir Kapija gorge. On the ruins of the early Christian basilica, a medieval church was erected with a spacious necropolis of several hundred graves. The graves are either freely dug, marked by some stone, rarely wooden planks or the type of cysts of stone slabs. The burial is performed according to Christian canons. The findings of the earnings and earrings, bracelets, rings, diagrams, necklaces, pendants, crosses, chains, quarters, buckles and buttons are dated in time by J-ⅹⅴ c. The findings of coins, both medieval and Turkish, is also significant, which shows the continuity of this Christian necropolis and in Turkish time. Litt.: B. Aleksova, average-Idemir Kapija, T.
