Kostov, Kire (Bitola, 14. IX 1949) – composer, arranger, trumpeter. He spent most of his working life as a trumpeter in the dance orchestra of the Macedonian radio-television, APO, as his head. With composition he started very early as the author of children’s songs, then created numerous jazz compositions, popular ringtones, music for TV series and dramatic performances. From his over 300 compositions, “I wait, I’m waiting” (1967), “Fly Plovelle” (1979), “when there are not” (1986) IDR. A significant place in his opus occupy the compositions and arrangements written about dance and revades orchestra. M. Cole.
