Kokalanov, Sasho (Skopje, 1977) – a modern Macedonian writer and journalist. Works in the daily newspaper “Dnevnik” in Skopje. He writes a forgery fiction. He is the author of the books: “Samarot”, 2003; “Night at Roslandal Train Station”, 2003; “Isabe-la, Ishmael and I”, 2005, as well as the dramatic text “Cage for Fools”. According to the Court of Criticism, Kocalanov’s novels reveal a writer with a gift, author with recognizable, fresh, modern creative manuscript and is an inevitable mark of the new trend in the development of the Macedonian novel.
